2. Information stored on your device

FOOTBOO stores some gameplay information locally on your device, including:

• Game settings and language preference
• Team names
• Seen-card and recent-card history
• Local scores and personal bests
• Local purchase or trial status where applicable
• Your optional leaderboard name

This information remains on your device unless you delete it in the app settings, clear the app data or uninstall the app.

3. Anonymous accounts and the global leaderboard

FOOTBOO does not require mandatory registration or your real name. If you use the global Solo leaderboard, the app may create an anonymous Firebase Authentication account represented by a pseudonymous user ID.

When you start or submit a verified Solo run, we may process:

• Run and card identifiers
• Card order, hint stages and timestamps
• Correct, passed and unanswered cards
• Answer durations and calculated scores
• The leaderboard name you voluntarily provide

You do not need to use your real name. Please do not enter sensitive or identifying information as your leaderboard name.

4. Analytics and crash information

FOOTBOO may use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to understand product usage, diagnose errors and improve stability.

Depending on the service configuration, this may include app and device identifiers, operating system and app version, crash logs, diagnostic information and general product events such as selected mode, pack, score and duration.

FOOTBOO does not intentionally send team names, typed answers, leaderboard names or other free-form text to Analytics.

5. Purchases

If paid content is enabled, purchases are processed through Google Play Billing and RevenueCat. FOOTBOO does not receive or store your full payment card number.

Google Play and RevenueCat may process transaction details, product identifiers, entitlement status and app-specific customer identifiers under their own privacy policies.

• To provide and maintain game features
• To verify Solo scores and prevent duplicate or fraudulent submissions
• To display rankings when you submit a score
• To process purchases and restore entitlements
• To diagnose crashes and technical problems
• To improve gameplay, performance and content

We do not sell your personal information.

7. Service providers and sharing

Information may be processed by service providers that support the app, including:

• Google Firebase Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Functions, Analytics and Crashlytics
• Google Play Billing
• RevenueCat, where enabled
• Hosting and infrastructure providers required to operate the app

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect the security of the app, or to investigate abuse, fraud or technical incidents.

8. Data retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy.

• Local game data remains until you delete it, clear app data or uninstall the app.
• Leaderboard and verified-run data may be retained while needed to operate, secure and maintain the ranking service.
• Analytics and crash data are retained according to the relevant Firebase service configuration and retention rules.
• Purchase records may be retained by Google Play and RevenueCat according to their policies and legal obligations.

9. Your choices and deletion requests

You can delete local game data from the app’s Settings screen.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of information associated with your anonymous account or leaderboard profile by contacting footboogame@gmail.com. Because the leaderboard uses anonymous accounts, we may need sufficient information to identify the relevant account or profile before processing a request.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information, including anonymous authentication, access controls, Firebase Security Rules, App Check and encrypted connections where supported by the relevant services.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

11. Children’s privacy

FOOTBOO is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe that a child has provided personal information, please contact us so that we can review and delete it where appropriate.

12. International processing

Service providers used by the app may process information in countries outside your country of residence. Where required, appropriate safeguards will be used in accordance with applicable data-protection law.

13. Your legal rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to learn whether your information is being processed, request access or correction, request deletion, object to or restrict certain processing, withdraw consent where applicable, and lodge a complaint with the relevant data-protection authority.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the app, its services or applicable legal requirements change. The updated version will be published on this page with a new effective date.
